About WRIGGLINGWORM STUDIO
“WHAT IS THIS LIFE IF FULL OF CARE …………”
Philosophically speaking, these words echo from the core of the subconscious mind which most of us might choose to ignore.
However, the words impacted me at a conscious level at the age of 15 instilling a different perspective and definition of art.
I took art classes the very next year from a very senior artist, who played a pivotal role in my life; of a budding artist who yearned to paint. He initiated my desire to paint by teaching me at first to sketch for 2 years, refusing to let me hold a brush until he deemed me ready.
It was only after the third year did I paint my very first oil painting- a landscape- “The Barn”, thus beginning my journey with art, and paving the way to where I am today.
My insightful teacher taught me the greatest virtues of calmness, patience, and to perceive beauty in everything, which I daresay has been the very foundation of all my artwork.
I have been evolving in my artwork whilst trying to bring in the very essence of calmness in every piece of art that I paint, hoping that everybody feels the calmness in my work.
This journey of 2 decades came to fruition giving birth to “Wrigglingworm Studio”. As the name suggests, my passion and zeal for art- always moving- sometimes forward-- sometimes sideways-- sometimes beyond the imagination of the human mind.
I have envisioned Wrigglingworm Studio as a platform not merely for exposing my art to the world but also to encourage other artists from all over the world who would like to embark on this journey with me.
I hope to invoke the subconscious mind and explore the intuitive wisdom that lies within each of us.
After all, the heart and mind is the most powerful, creative stage to bring our ideas and wishes into reality.
“A POOR LIFE THIS….IF FULL OF CARE,
........WE HAVE NO TIME TO STAND AND STARE”
