PERSEVERANCE 
This painting began with the energy of an F1 circuit, the thrill, the speed, the sharp focus needed to stay on track. 
But as I worked on it, I started seeing more than just a race. 
I saw life.
The main path, the bold, continuous line, represents the journey we all take. 
It's a loop, a full circle. It speaks of return, of growth, of the sense that somehow, we always come back to ourselves. That no matter how fast or slow we go, the journey shapes us.
But life isn’t a perfect loop, is it?
So I added another layer. A fainter path, looping in and out, shimmering in light green. 
It’s the confusion we all face, detours, doubts, those twists that feel unclear at first. 
Yet, I didn’t want it to feel heavy or dark. Instead, I chose a soft, shimmery green because not all confusion is bad. 
Sometimes the things that throw us off course are the very things that help us grow.
I titled it “Chicane”, a term from racing that means a sudden curve meant to slow you down. 
It felt right. 
Life has its chicanes too. 
They challenge us, but they also make us more aware. 
They demand presence. And maybe, just maybe, they’re where transformation happens.
This painting is deeply personal. It’s inspired by my younger son, by his dreams, his determination, and the unwavering discipline and sacrifices he brings to his journey of becoming a Formula 1 race driver. 
Watching him carve his path with so much focus and heart, at such a young age,  reminded me how powerful it is to chase something bigger than yourself. 
His journey sparked this work, and through it, I hope to honor not just his dream, but the universal pursuit of purpose, even through life’s sharpest turns.
